The Indirect Category Supplier Manager plays a critical role in leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and driving category strategies across global procurement functions. This role is pivotal in supporting business operations, cost management, and operational efficiency goals. will lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related—but not limited—to cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and contract negotiation. This is accomplished through building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships that align with category strategies and business needs. You will engage in supplier benchmarking analysis to formulate, lead, and execute strategies that optimize cost, supply, and quality. Additional responsibilities include negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing to leverage spend, leading and participating in departmental projects, and serving as a primary contact for assigned suppliers in category.
